Fraud Alert Phone List

!!!!   Update 3/2005   !!!!

If you would like to take advantage of the new Annual Credit Report requirements from the Federal Government, go to:

www.annualcreditreport.com

this is a free service (rolled out on the west coast first) that allows you to pull your credit report once each year from the three bureaus - online.  Typically, you would go to the bureaus and fax or write them for the information.

This doesn't get you a FICO score (that will cost extra) but it will allow you to see what data they are using to send you those credit card offers!

If you have found fraudulent use of  your identity, make sure you contact the credit bureaus (plus the police and your credit cards companies and banks).
